Nyaradzo Chahuruva is an accomplished finance and operations professional with a broad range of expertise in accounting, auditing, project management, financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management. She holds a Master’s Degree in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa. Nyaradzo is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA-Z) and a part-qualified Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA-UK). Additionally, she is a Certified Financial Education Instructor, known for her exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Nyaradzo’s professional experience includes serving as the Finance Manager for the Global Fund Program Management Unit at the Ministry of Health and Social Services in Namibia from March 2017 to February 2021. In this role, she was responsible for financial management, compliance, and reporting. She also held the position of Finance and Administration Director at Family AIDS Caring Trust (FACT), where she oversaw finance and administration functions, managed budgets and payroll, and ensured adherence to accounting principles and donor guidelines.
With a background in auditing, Nyaradzo has worked as an Audit Senior in Charge at Ernst & Young in Botswana and as an Audit Assistant to Audit Supervisor at BakerTilly Zimbabwe. These roles provided her with extensive experience in internal and external auditing, risk management, and compliance with accounting standards.
