Rufaro Maravanyika is a seasoned Accounting professional with over 10 years of practical expertise in NGO financial reporting, accounting, and grants and development programs financial planning and management. He has a proven track record in successfully managing emergency grant-funded and sponsorship-funded programs supported by prominent organizations such as USAID, UN, EU, and ECHO.
Throughout his career, Rufaro has developed a strong skill set in complex budget development, expenditure analysis, and meticulous tracking, providing extensive support to internal and external stakeholders, including partner organizations. His leadership and communication skills have flourished through various leadership roles, enabling him to foster interpersonal relationships that drive the finance function’s objectives forward. With exceptional people management abilities, he excels in leading diverse teams.
Rufaro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and is a proud member of the esteemed Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute. In addition, he possesses a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting and a Diploma in Applied Accounting. Currently serving as the Accounting Manager, Rufaro is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Financial Reporting and Accounting, including audits and accounts payable management.
