Archibald Chikavanga, a development professional with 18+ years of experience, is currently the Deputy Chief of Party/Technical Coordinator for Food Security for the CARE-led USAID funded Resilience Food Security Activity, Takunda consortium in Zimbabwe. His expertise spans across sectors such as agriculture, economic empowerment, resilience , gender , youth and food security. He has held leadership roles in various programs, including the CARE-led ECHO-funded Zimbabwe Disaster Rapid Response Consortium and other USAID-funded programs. As the CARE Food Security Cluster focal point person and Head of the Sub-Office for Manicaland province, he is uniquely placed to shape CARE Zimbabwe’s portfolio and build strong sector relationships in the noted regions. Archibald is a dedicated practitioner and change-maker with a Master in Humanitarian Operations and Supply Chain Management and post graduate qualification in development studies.
